Deep Purple

Hard rock and heavy metal pioneers Deep Purple arrive in Finland in June. The band, which has sold over 100 million albums, has filled stadiums and arenas worldwide for decades. Now iconic songs like Smoke on the Water, Highway Star, Perfect Strangers and Child in Time sound live as the hard rock giant brings its tour to Finland after a long absence.

Deep Purple is known as one of rock history's most prolific bands. It has continued to release hit albums and conduct world tours almost without interruption since 1968. In 2016, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Deep Purple's line-ups have changed over the years, and the band has featured world-class rock musicians renowned for their exceptional playing abilities. Deep Purple created some of the most important rock albums of the early 1970s, including Made in Japan, which is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential live albums of all time.

The current line-up features vocalist Ian Gillan, guitarist Simon McBride, drummer Ian Paice, bassist Roger Glover and keyboardist Don Airey.
