Teurastamo Festivaali

Teurastamo Festivaali in summer 2026 features Paperi T with their only performance of the year, Antti Autio releasing a new album early in the year, and Risto, an icon of alternative music, whose classic album "Aurinko aurinko plaa plaa plaa" (2006) celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The programme is completed by Modem playing retrofuturistic synapop, marleena writing melancholic heartbreak indie, and Stepa rapping over funky beats. Other artists include Bad Sauna playing 90s surinarock, Grande Mahogany with psychedelic dance music, Kristiina offering sparkling powerpop, Mary Ann Hawksins combining instrumental surf and rock'n'roll, and Free Carmen, an alternative rock prospect whose double album has been developed by a backing team that has worked with names like The Smile, Ursus Factory and Arcade Fire.

A DJ-music-specialised stage returns to the Teurastamo Festivaali programme, and a unique 10-hour special set from Paha Vaanii club will be performed with an expanded All Stars ensemble. DJs Laura Vartio and Harvest gather a collective of surprise guests who will play the best dance music from any decade or genre, from the festival's opening until the final signal.
