Seminaari Hill Garden - Guided Walk

A guided walk through the botanical garden of Jyväskylä University, where you will learn about the plant collections and the garden's history. The guided route is approximately one kilometre long and passes through the culturally and historically significant landscapes of Seminaari Hill - the grounds of Finland's first public education botanical garden. Your guide is Hanna Keljo, a garden specialist and planner at Jyväskylä University's Centre for Open Knowledge.

Walks are held on 10.6. and 19.8. from 17:00 to 18:15 (duration 1 hour 15 minutes). The starting point is the University Gate sculpture, Seminaarinkatu 15. Admission is 10 € per person. The walk is conducted in Finnish.

Note: The walk is not fully accessible - Seminaari Hill has a steep slope and the route includes cobblestone paving. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the walk's content and route.
