Inside Out

At headquarters - the command center of 11-year-old Riley's mind - five emotions work around the clock. The group is led by Joy, whose job is to make sure Riley feels happy. Fear handles safety, Anger looks after justice, and Disgust prevents poisoning - both physical and social. Sadness isn't quite sure what her job is, and to be honest, nobody else knows either.

When Riley's family moves to a new, scary city, the emotions decide to take matters into their own hands to help the girl through a difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are accidentally swept deep into Riley's mental maze - and take some core memories with them - Fear, Anger and Disgust reluctantly take control. Joy and Sadness must journey through unfamiliar territories - long-term memory, imagination land, abstract thinking and dream production - in a desperate attempt to get back to headquarters and to Riley.
