Tuomari Nurmio - 13 kylmää laulua (7) - Doc Helios

The Doc Helios series presents a documentary of Tuomari Nurmio's themed concert "Songs of War and Dictatorship". The concert was recorded at Tavastia club on 30.9.2024 and brings together socially conscious songs from Nurmio's catalogue spanning over 40 years.

Nurmio comments on the songs himself: "I have written these songs over a span of more than 40 years, and they have remained topical in a regrettably effective way. Although the themes are dark by nature, their black humour hopefully also works as therapy during these times of fear and uncertainty."

The screening takes place at Kino Helios, Malmi's own cinema in Malmitalo. Films are shown without advertisements, and you may bring your own snacks.
