Institutional Visit Istanbul

In October, ELSA Turku heads to Istanbul - on the border between Europe and Asia. The trip runs 19.-23.10.2026 and costs 440€, covering flights, hostel accommodation, the academic programme, and an overall patch.

The programme includes visits to local legal institutions and an introduction to the Turkish legal system, alongside the city's mosques and palaces and local cuisine. There is also a joint social programme with ELSA Istanbul for international networking with local students.

Registration opens 28.9. at 13:00 and closes 11.10. at 23:55. The first instalment of the participation fee (50€) is paid via Kide.app at registration; the remaining 390€ is invoiced later by email. ELSA membership is required and will be verified.

The flight price includes hand luggage and a personal item (combined max 8 kg) and one checked bag (max 23 kg). Registration is binding - check that your travel insurance and passport are valid before departure. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket using the "send ticket" function until 16.10. If you do so, contact Elli Hakkarainen (elli.hakkarainen@fi.elsa.org) so that the name change can be forwarded to the airline promptly. Name changes cannot be guaranteed without an additional fee after 16.10.
