About

A Chinese Ghost Story (1987) is a Hong Kong fantasy film directed by Ching Siu-tung and produced by Tsui Hark. It follows a hapless debt collector who falls for a ghost haunting a desolate temple. The film mixes wuxia action, romance and horror, and became one of the defining works of Hong Kong cinema in the 1980s.
