Aapo Niininen (b. 1989) is a Finnish musician, singer-songwriter and video director, best known as one half of the Helsinki folk-pop duo Kalevauva.fi alongside Kimmo Numminen. The duo, founded in 2016, builds its lyrics entirely from Finnish internet discussion forums and social media comments - a concept that turned a one-off festival stunt into a decade-long career. Niininen also runs the Vallilan Sorvi recording studio and directs the band's music videos under his Must Have Melon production banner.
Kalevauva.fi launched a 10-concert anniversary tour across Finland to mark the duo's 10th year, with dates in Vantaa, Tampere, Turku, Jyväskylä, Tahko and Helsinki.
Kalevauva.fi released the single 'Norppa on kivellä' in collaboration with WWF Finland, with royalties split between Saimaa ringed seal conservation and the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters.
The duo also released the single 'Sohvakäärme' in 2026, continuing their run of new material.
