Acoustenced is a Finnish two-guitar duo that performs Sentenced songs in stripped-back acoustic arrangements. The project pays tribute to the beloved Oulu gothic metal band, whose catalogue - from melancholic anthems to heavier fare - translates surprisingly well to an intimate, guitar-only setting. The duo has built a following among Finnish metal fans and performs regularly at club nights and festivals dedicated to the Sentenced legacy.
Acoustenced is booked to perform at SaariHelvetti festival on 14 August 2026, sharing the bill with Abbath, Ensiferum, and Wolfheart.
A 'We Still Play Sentenced' show featuring Acoustenced and Ehdonalainen is scheduled for 5 September 2026 in Turku.
Acoustenced closed the final night of the Melankolian Mestari Tour at Bar Loose, Helsinki on 8 March 2025, performing alongside Mourning Wood and Ehdonalainen.
