Anssi Kela (born 29 July 1972 in Kerava) is a Finnish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose debut album Nummela (2001) became the best-selling Finnish record of the entire 2000s, shifting over 150,000 copies. Known for his narrative Finnish-language lyrics and a sound that ranges from folk-tinged pop-rock to 1980s-influenced synth pop, he has released eight studio albums and won multiple Emma awards, including a career-achievement Erikois-Emma in 2019.
