Anssi Kela (born 29 July 1972 in Kerava) is a Finnish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose debut album Nummela (2001) became the best-selling Finnish record of the entire 2000s, shifting over 150,000 copies. Known for his narrative Finnish-language lyrics and a sound that ranges from folk-tinged pop-rock to 1980s-influenced synth pop, he has released eight studio albums and won multiple Emma awards, including a career-achievement Erikois-Emma in 2019.
Anssi Kela released his eighth studio album Kaikki tiet joita kuljin on 7 March 2025, celebrating the launch with a series of special shows at Helsinki's Korjaamo venue.
The single Kaikesta puolet saat was released on 17 January 2025 as a preview of the then-upcoming eighth album.
Kela embarked on an extensive spring 2025 tour across Finland, with dates stretching from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and Kittilä, plus a Stockholm cruise show.
The single Kahden sydämen törmäys was released in September 2024, ahead of the new album.
Kela received the Erikois-Emma career-achievement award at the 2019 Emma Gaala, becoming one of the youngest recipients of the honour.
