About

Blind Channel is a nu metal band from Oulu, Finland, formed in 2013. They coined their own genre tag - 'violent pop' - blending heavy metal riffs, rap verses and electronic hooks into a high-voltage live act. The band broke internationally when they represented Finland at Eurovision 2021 with 'Dark Side', finishing sixth in Rotterdam with 301 points, and went on to sweep six Emma Gaala awards in 2022 including Artist, Band and Song of the Year.
