Broken English (2024) is a documentary about Marianne Faithfull, directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the duo behind the Nick Cave film 20,000 Days on Earth. It traces Faithfull's career from folk to new wave and pushes back against her long-standing public image as merely "Mick Jagger's girlfriend". Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Nick Cave, Warren Ellis and Courtney Love all appear.
