Cryptic Hatred is a Finnish death metal band formed in 2019 by four school friends - Eemil Lajoma (guitars/vocals), Jami Lamio (guitars), Tatu Saves (drums) and Miska Hagelberg (bass). Rooted in old-school Florida death metal but shaped by Finnish atmosphere, the band has released two full-length albums - 'Nocturnal Sickness' (2022) and 'Internal Torment' (2024, Time To Kill Records) - and built a reputation as one of the most driven live acts in Finland's current death metal scene.
Metal-Rules.com published an interview with vocalist/guitarist Eemil Lajoma in August 2025, during which the band confirmed they are writing new music.
Cryptic Hatred performed at Tuska Open Air 2025 in Helsinki on June 29, appearing on the KVLT Stage at Tiivistämö.
The band released their second full-length album 'Internal Torment' on July 5, 2024 via Time To Kill Records.
