David Tibet is a British musician and poet, best known as the founder and driving force behind the experimental folk project Current 93. Active since the early 1980s, he has built a body of work spanning apocalyptic folk, neofolk and avant-garde sound art, with lyrics steeped in mysticism and religious imagery.
