Demonic Death Judge is a Finnish sludge/stoner metal four-piece from Kymenlaakso, formed in 2009 by Jaakko Heinonen, Lauri Pikka and identical twins Saku and Pasi Hakuli. The band built a steady following across Europe through relentless touring and a string of albums on Suicide Records, with their third record Skygods (2012) drawing wider international attention. Their fifth album, Absolutely Launched (April 2025), marks a return after a five-year gap and has been received as one of their strongest releases to date.

Absolutely Launched was recorded and mixed by Tom Brooke at Tonehaven Studios during summer and fall 2024.
The band released the first single '90's Violence' ahead of the album, with a lyric video.
Demonic Death Judge contributed the exclusive track 'Poisoner' to the Suicide Records charity compilation In the Loving Memory of You, with proceeds going to suicide prevention nonprofit Suicide Zero.
The track '90's Violence' was included on Weedian's The 100 Best Releases of 2025 compilation.
