Evan Rachel Wood (born September 7, 1987, Raleigh, North Carolina) is an American actress and singer who grew up in a theatrical family and began performing as a child. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for the teen drama Thirteen (2003) and later won a Critics' Choice Television Award for her lead role as Dolores Abernathy in HBO's Westworld (2016-2022), which also brought her three Emmy and two further Golden Globe nominations. Beyond acting, she has lent her voice to film soundtracks including Across the Universe (2007) and Frozen 2 (2019), and in early 2024 she took the stage as Audrey in the long-running Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
Wood appears in FX's new drama series The Shards, set in 1980s Los Angeles, which began airing in 2026.
