The Marriage of Figaro is an opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, first performed in Vienna in 1786. The libretto draws on Beaumarchais's play and follows the scheming servant Figaro and his bride Susanna. It is one of the most frequently performed operas in the world.
