Haken is a progressive metal band from London, formed in 2007 by Richard Henshall, Matthew Marshall and vocalist Ross Jennings. Known for ambitious song structures and a wide sonic palette - spanning jazz, classical and heavy metal - the band has released seven studio albums on Inside Out Music, with The Mountain (2013) and Vector (2018) among their most acclaimed. In early 2026 the lineup shifted when guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green departed, and the band responded with the five-track EP In a Fever Dream (July 2026), their first new studio material in over three years.
