Innocence is the final opera by Finnish-French composer Kaija Saariaho, premiered at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2021. The work explores the trauma of a school shooting through multiple perspectives, with a libretto by Sofi Oksanen. It has been performed at major opera houses internationally.
