About
FC Inter Turku (full name: Football Club International Turku) is a professional football club from Turku, Finland, competing in the Veikkausliiga - the country's top division. Founded in 1990 by Stefan Håkans, the club plays its home matches at Veritas Stadion and has won one Finnish championship (2008), two Finnish Cups and three Finnish League Cups. Known by the nicknames Sinimustat (Blue-Blacks) and Hinaajat (Tugboats), Inter is one of the most consistent clubs in Finnish football and a regular participant in UEFA qualifying rounds.
