Introsoul presents their debut album Teleology live at Semifinal. The Kangasala duo Emerald Clover opens the evening with Celtic and Nordic folk music.
Introsoul is the solo project of Helsinki-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mikko Järvenpää, who blends folk, indie-pop and electronic music into a sound he writes, plays, produces and mixes entirely himself. His debut album Teleology, released on 24 April 2026, draws on fatherhood, self-acceptance and the philosophical idea that life's setbacks carry a deeper purpose. Before Introsoul, Järvenpää spent roughly two decades performing with the metal band Arkadia and the rock-pop group Weg across Finland and the Baltics.
International music blog Songplode published a feature on Introsoul's debut, noting how Järvenpää built the album in early-morning studio sessions before fatherhood duties began.
Debut album Teleology was released on 24 April 2026, a 10-track record on which Järvenpää handled all songwriting, recording, production and mixing himself.
Finnish music site Kaaoszine reviewed Teleology on 29 April 2026, describing it as a personal account of how setbacks can become steps toward something meaningful.
Single 'Where Do the Swallows Go?' was released on 26 September 2024 as the opening track of the forthcoming album and the song that originally sparked the Introsoul project.
Single 'After the Trial' was released on 11 April 2025, accompanied by a music video produced together with Antti-Jussi Valkama.
