Janne Tulkki is a Finnish schlager singer who came to prominence in 1998 after finishing second in the Syksyn sävel competition with Kulkurin kuu. His debut album sold over 96,000 copies, and his total album sales exceed 250,000 - earning him gold, platinum and double platinum records. In 1999 he won two Emma awards: Soloist of the Year and Best Male Newcomer.
