Jenni Vartiainen (born 1983, Kuopio) is one of Finland's best-selling solo artists, known for her powerful voice and a string of Finnish-language pop hits spanning nearly two decades. She rose to fame via the Popstars talent show in 2002 and the girl group Gimmel before launching a solo career in 2007 that has yielded five studio albums, nine Emma Awards, and a place among Finland's 50 all-time best-selling recording artists. Her 2025 album ORIGO debuted at number one on the Finnish charts and has since streamed platinum.
Vartiainen announced the Vedenalaista concert hall tour for autumn 2026, with dates across Finland including Helsinki, Tampere, Turku and Oulu.
She released the new single 'Joku johon nojata', her first original release since the platinum-streaming album ORIGO.
ORIGO, Vartiainen's fifth studio album, debuted at number one on the Finnish Official Albums Chart in week 13 of 2025.
Warner Music Live announced five club shows for Vartiainen in autumn 2025, following her rise to the top of Spotify Finland.
Her 2010 song 'Missä muruseni on' was named Radio Song of All Time at the 2025 Radio Gala.
