Kaatuva Hevonen Kyljellään

About

Kaatuva Hevonen Kyljellään Hyönteinen is the artist project of Helsinki-based dance maker Hanna Heino, who trained at Outokumpu's dance programme and also studied dance and somatics at the East Finland Sports Institute (ISLO). Her work draws on improvisation as its primary instrument, shaped by flamenco, contact improvisation and various somatic methods, with a focus on organic movement and the body's memory. Alongside her own artistic practice she is a member of the Toisissa Tiloissa performance art collective and works as a professional dance instructor at the special vocational school Live.
