Kaija Koo (born Kaija Kokkola, 10 September 1962, Helsinki) is one of Finland's best-selling pop artists, with a career stretching back to the early 1980s when she played in the funk-pop band Steel City. Her 1993 breakthrough album Tuulten viemää sold triple platinum and remains among the all-time best-selling Finnish albums; over her career she has shifted more than half a million records in total. She is the only artist to have won the Emma Award for Female Vocalist of the Year three times (1993, 1997, 2014), and in 2026 she marks 40 years since her debut solo album.
