About

KANTØR is a melodic death/gothic metal band from Turku, Finland, founded in 2020. The five-piece blends melodic death metal with gothic and industrial elements - cathedral-like synth textures layered over heavy riffs - drawing comparisons to Amorphis, Sentenced and Type O Negative. The band is signed to Samsara Records and is an official part of the Turku Rock Academy band programme.
