Klamydia is a Finnish punk rock band from Vaasa, founded in 1988 and still going strong. Over more than three decades they have released 21 studio albums - many of them reaching the top of the Finnish charts - and clocked over 2,000 gigs at home, making them one of the most prolific live acts in the country. The band runs its own label, Kråklund Records, and has sold more than 750,000 records in Finland alone.
Klamydia released their 21st studio album 'Mörkö koneistossa' on 9 May 2025, the first to feature two guitarists simultaneously.
The band adopted a new five-member line-up in 2024, adding a second guitarist Silttu Sillanpää.
Klamydia played two joint shows with Swedish punk band Perkele in April 2024, in Tampere and one other city.
The live album 'Timanttinen keikka, hemmot!' was released on 20 October 2023.
