Maija Pokela (b. 1990, Espoo) is a Finnish kantele player, singer and folk musician who graduated from the Folk Music Department of the Sibelius Academy. She is best known as a member of Kardemimmit and ENKEL - two groups whose albums have repeatedly won the Finnish Folk Music Album of the Year award - and in April 2025 she released her debut solo album Lohdun sanoja (Words of Comfort), drawing on the emotional world of traditional folk song.
