About
MASTER BOOT RECORD (MBR) is an Italian electronic metal project founded in 2016 by Rome-based producer Vittorio D'Amore, who records and performs under the alias Victor Love. The project blends synthesized heavy metal, chiptune, demoscene aesthetics and classical structures into a sound entirely its own - signed to Metal Blade Records since 2019, MBR has released over fourteen albums and built a devoted international following. D'Amore originally kept the project anonymous, presenting himself only as 'the technologist', though he has since acknowledged that true anonymity was never really the point.
