Mercedes (Linda-Maria Raninen, b. 1993 Helsinki) is a Finnish rapper and author who first gained wide recognition under the name Mercedes Bentso. Her lyrics address substance abuse, violence and social exclusion, and she is an outspoken public voice on the marginalisation of Roma youth. Alongside her music she has published several acclaimed non-fiction books and, in 2025, her debut novel Lana Del Reyn mekko.

Raninen released the EP ILON MASKI in 2025, addressing the effects of a polarising social climate on an extreme-prone personality.
In an April 2025 interview Raninen described the importance of writing fiction where she does not have to speak about her own traumas.
