Michael Monroe (born Matti Fagerholm, 17 June 1962, Helsinki) is a Finnish rock vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who first made his name as the frontman of Hanoi Rocks, the glam-punk band that influenced a generation of hard rock acts in the early 1980s. Since the band's dissolution he has maintained a prolific solo career, releasing eleven studio albums under his own name and fronting side projects including Demolition 23 and Jerusalem Slim.
