Mikko Tapio Alatalo (born 1 May 1951, Kuivaniemi) is a Finnish singer-songwriter, musician and former politician who has shaped Finnish popular music since the early 1970s. He co-founded the band Coitus Int with Juice Leskinen and Harri Rinne, then built a prolific solo career spanning folk-rock, protest songs, schlager and children's music - winning the Syksyn Sävel competition four times between 1978 and 1986. He served as a Centre Party MP for four terms (2003-2019) and has released over 50 albums, with his 2026 orchestral record 'Se se on rokkii... ja sinfoniaa' described by him as the final work of his recording career.
