Morta Skuld is an American death metal band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded in 1990 by guitarist and vocalist Dave Gregor. The band released three albums on Peaceville Records in the early-to-mid 1990s - 'Dying Remains' (1993), 'As Humanity Fades' (1994) and 'For All Eternity' (1995) - and built a cult following through relentless touring alongside acts like Death, Obituary and Cannibal Corpse. After a long hiatus, Gregor revived the band in 2012 and has since released three further studio albums on Peaceville, most recently 'Creation Undone' in February 2024.
Morta Skuld completed a European headline tour in November 2024, dubbed 'Europe Undone', with UK death metal band Decrepid as support, playing cities including Berlin, Prague, Aarhus and Copenhagen.
