Nicole is a Finnish metal band founded in Teuva in 1997 by singer-guitarist Ilkka Laitala, drummer Ville Sahakangas, and bassist Iiro Rantanen. Singing exclusively in Finnish, the band has released five studio albums through their own Biotech Records label, four of which have charted on the Finnish official albums list - with 'Sivu Syyttömistä' (2007) reaching their best position of number six. Their sound has evolved from alternative metal roots toward a heavier, thrash- and Meshuggah-influenced modern metal.
