Oulu Sinfonia is Finland's northernmost symphony orchestra, founded in 1937 and based at the Madetoja Hall of the Oulu Music Centre. With 61 professional musicians, it performs weekly across a wide range of genres - from classical season concerts to opera, film music, jazz and family programmes. British conductor Rumon Gamba has led the orchestra as chief conductor since January 2022, and his contract runs through 2028.
