About

Pyhimys (born Mikko Kuoppala, 1981, Helsinki) is one of Finland's most prominent rappers and songwriters, active since the mid-2000s. He records for Universal Music Finland and founded the indie label Yellowmic Records, while also fronting the hip-hop group Teflon Brothers. His 2018 album 'Tapa poika' brought him mainstream recognition and earned him six Emma awards at the 2019 gala - sweeping every category he was nominated in.
