Rasvamaksa is a six-piece punk band from Helsinki's Oulunkylä neighbourhood, founded in 2019. The group blends hardcore punk, rock and metal, with two vocalists giving their sound a distinctive edge. Their debut album 'Muutakin kuin muisto' (Love Is Punk Records, 2023) was picked as one of the year's best Finnish releases by Kaaoszine editors; the follow-up 'Vastamelu' arrived in August 2026.
Rasvamaksa released their second album 'Vastamelu' on 21 August 2026 via Love Is Punk Records, featuring ten tracks written from a pool of 62 song ideas.

The single 'Huono omena', released 12 June 2026, showed a more vulnerable and melancholic side of the band.
The single 'Buridanin aasi' was released in February 2026 as a preview of the then-upcoming second album.
