Robert Jan Stips (born 4 February 1950, The Hague) is a Dutch keyboardist, composer, producer and singer whose career spans more than five decades of Dutch pop history. He co-founded the progressive rock band Supersister in the late 1960s, later played with Golden Earring, and has been the keyboard anchor of Nits since 1981 - contributing to the band's signature blend of art pop and orchestral ambition, including the symphonic work Hjuvi: A Rhapsody in Time (1992).
