Ronja Rövardotter is a Swedish family film from 1984, directed by Tage Danielsson and based on Astrid Lindgren's novel of the same name. It follows Ronja, daughter of the robber chief Mattis, as she grows up in the forest and befriends the son of a rival robber clan. The film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
