Rose is a German drama film directed by Markus Schleinzer, based on true events set during the Thirty Years' War. Sandra Hüller plays a mysterious soldier who arrives at a remote Protestant village, her face scarred by a gunshot wound. Hüller won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival for the role.
