Festival 2026
Two-day music festival at Pyynikki in Tampere featuring many Finnish artists. The festival is in its fifth year and attracted 11,000 visitors last summer.
Ruusut is a Finnish electropop band formed in 2018, whose members previously played in acts such as Pintandwefall, The Hearing and Disco Ensemble. Lyrics are written by novelist Lauri Levola, and the band's debut album won the Critics' Choice award at the 2018 Emma Gaala. Their 2023 twin albums Melankolia 1 and Melankolia 2 pushed the band toward cinematic, orchestral arrangements and are considered their most ambitious work to date. The current trio - Ringa Manner, Miikka Koivisto and Samuli Kukkola - is working on a new album expected in 2026.
Ruusut announced a new album is in the works, to be released in 2026.
Ruusut announced their biggest-ever headline show at Helsingin Jäähalli Black Box on 13 May 2026.
Ruusut returned to the stage at Flow Festival's Silver Arena in summer 2025, marking the start of a new chapter for the band.
Drummer Alpo Nummelin left Ruusut in early 2025; the band continues as a trio.
