Sininen kaupunki (2016) is the debut Finnish-language solo album by rapper and singer Tommy Lindgren, best known as the frontman of Don Johnson Big Band. Released under the name Tommy Lindgren Metropolis, the record blends hip-hop, trip-hop, jazz and indie rock into a hazy, introspective soundscape, and earned four stars from both Soundi and Aamulehti on release. Lindgren is backed by guitarist Jarmo Saari, drummer Teppo Mäkynen and multi-instrumentalist-producer Abdissa Assefa.
Tommy Lindgren Metropolis announced two 10th-anniversary concerts for Sininen kaupunki in September 2026 - in Tampere on 17 September and Helsinki on 19 September at G Livelab.
The band will perform the album from start to finish with an expanded six-piece lineup including Ville Riippa and Felix Zenger alongside the original trio.
The anniversary shows mark the first time the full Tommy Lindgren Metropolis lineup has performed live since September 2017.
