About

Sylosis are a heavy metal band from Reading, Berkshire, formed in 2000 by guitarist and vocalist Josh Middleton - the one constant across every lineup change in the band's history. Rooted in thrash metal and melodic death metal, they signed to Nuclear Blast Records in 2007 and have since released seven studio albums. Their 2020 comeback record Cycle of Suffering marked a sharp return to form after a three-year hiatus, and the 2023 follow-up A Sign of Things to Come cemented their standing as one of Britain's most consistent modern metal acts.
