Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus is a Finnish heavy metal band formed in 1996, known for singing exclusively in Finnish and for their intense live shows. Four of their seven studio albums have gone gold or platinum, and in 2002 the band swept four Emma Awards including Album of the Year. After a hiatus from 2004 to 2017, they returned to active touring and recording, releasing the seventh album Tuomiojärvi in September 2025.
The band released their seventh studio album Tuomiojärvi on 12 September 2025, their first record with new drummer and producer Aksu Hanttu.
A full Finnish club tour supporting Tuomiojärvi ran from September through November 2025, covering over 15 venues.
The second single from Tuomiojärvi, 'Kohti tuhoa', was released on 15 August 2025.
The band announced Aksu Hanttu as their new drummer in January 2025; Hanttu also produced the Tuomiojärvi album.
A Helsinki show at On the Rocks is scheduled for 18 September 2026.
