Xzibit (born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, September 18, 1974, Detroit) is an American rapper, actor and television host who built his name in the West Coast hip-hop scene of the late 1990s. His breakthrough came through collaborations with Dr. Dre - including features on Dre's landmark album 2001 - and his own platinum record Restless (2000), executive produced by Dre. Beyond music, he hosted MTV's Pimp My Ride (2004-2007) and appeared in films such as 8 Mile and XXX: State of the Union. In May 2025 he released Kingmaker, his first studio album in 13 years.
