Public Meeting: Katajanoka Harbour and Eastern Sörnäinen Harbour

Two detailed plan amendments are being initiated in Katajanoka: one concerns the eastern part of Sörnäinen Harbour, the area around Katajanoka Quay, and the other covers Katajanoka Harbour. The southern waterfront of Katajanoka is being developed as a new maritime urban space that will integrate the harbour and waterfront area more closely with the walkable city centre.

The projects will be presented at a public meeting on 17.6.2026 from 16.30 to 18.00 at the City Hall Event Square (Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13). City planners will be present, along with representatives from the Allas Pool project and the Port of Helsinki. Following the presentations, discussion will continue at themed tables.
