This guided walk introduces you to the beautiful coastal forest and stunning landscapes of Meri-Rastila with experienced guides. The area features diverse natural habitats including rocky outcrops, shoreline, old forests, and wetlands. Much of the landscape is protected, and the area is home to many birds, bats, and other wildlife.
The walk encourages movement in nearby nature and explains how to behave responsibly in natural settings.
The guide speaks clear Finnish. The route is easy to walk and approximately 2.5 km long. The walk is suitable for families with children. The path consists of wide walking trails, so you can also bring strollers.
Bring a water bottle and easy-to-eat snacks that don't require heating.
The walk departs from the end of Märssykuja, at the intersection with the outdoor trail (Märssykuja 2).
