Etu-Töölö Classicism Architecture Walk — Hakasalmen huvila, Helsinki
Description was written before the event

This architecture walk showcases Etu-Töölö, considered Finland's most significant 1920s residential district. The area's urban plan follows medieval city models, and its buildings represent Nordic classicism.

Key stops on the route include the area around Temppeliaukio, Oksasenkatu, Museokatu, and the so-called Soncka block between Runeberginkatu and Mechelininkatu. The Parliament House, the era's most important single construction project, is the walk's central focus. The route also passes through art déco blocks on Välskärikatu and ends at Töölö Church.

Departure point: Hakasalmen huvila courtyard. Duration approximately 1.5 hours, distance approximately 2 km. Ticket 13 €, advance purchase recommended.
