Job Search Support Workshops: Effective Job Search Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn how job searching works in practice and where to find open job opportunities. You will get a clear overview of the job search process and practical tools to help you move forward and make your job search more effective and goal-oriented.

This workshop includes topics such as: Key job search channels, how to create job alerts and job search profilesHow to use the Job Market Finland (Työmarkkinatori) serviceYou will learn how to find suitable job opportunities and how to stay up to date with new openings.

This workshop is especially suitable for you if you are not sure where to look for jobs or if you want to clarify your job search and get started.

Please bring your online banking credentials so you can log in to Job Market Finland. You may also bring your email login details and passwords. A computer can be borrowed for the duration of the workshop, or you can bring your own.

To participate in this workshop, you need to:apply beforehand: application formbe a resident of Helsinki

Requirements for participation:You must have sufficient language skills to communicate with the instructor and other participants without an interpreter or assistant.You must have basic digital skills so that you can use a computer independently.
