Artist Talk: Lahja Kallinen and Ulla Pitkänen

Lahja Kallinen and Ulla Pitkänen discuss their works in the Ylitys exhibition.

According to the artists, the exhibition's shared themes explore the world of books, words, images, and forms. They have held joint exhibitions at the Clock and Jewellery Museum Kruunu, Richardsgatan Library, and Laterna Magica's basement and brick gallery. A study trip to Florence supported by the Swedish Cultural Foundation has left its mark on both - Florence and jewellery have long captivated them, and now books as well.
